Portable App Development

I just started experimenting with the PA platform a couple of days back. I can successfully move files, dirs and registry entries pretty well, but now I'm stuck and I see no way of resolving this.

Could a options be added to PortableApps
so the zip backups files could be like

labeldrivename-2012-04-18-Documents.zip instead of
PortableAppsBackup-2012-04-18-Documents.zip

and

labeldrivename-2012-04-18-Drive.zip instead of
PortableAppsBackup-2012-04-18-Drive.zip

With such a options, many USB-KEY with different label could be made
to the same network drive.

Hi guys,

there is an issue with yesterdays release:
The installer does not allow to install the package.

I downloaded LibreOfficePortable_3.5.2_MultilingualNormal.paf.exe and executed it.
When I come to the step where I should choose a folder, the installer does not allow me to continue.
I for example tried the folder
C:\Programme\LibreOfficePortable (I installed version 3.5.0 there before)

When I hit “Install” it says “The selected target directory is invalid.
Please choose a valid directory. [C:\Programme]”

HOw TO create paf.exe With out adminstrator rights
please Help Me

Multiple Profile Support for Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird and SeaMonkey, Portable Editions 1.1

Installed it into my portable Firefox installation, which added the FirefoxPortable2ndProfile.exe file.

Attempting to launch Firefox Portable for this second profile, it fails due to the following error message:

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition 2nd Profile cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: D:\app\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe)

I am trying to make a portable app of My Notes Keeper.
Launcher file:
[Launch]
AppName=My Notes Keeper Portable
ProgramExecutable=MyNotesKeeper\MyNotesKeeper.exe

[Activate]
Registry=true

[RegistryKeys]
MNKPortable=HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{B0CC8D3F-EF1A-4400-A5C7-1A2230AA0B8C}
The MNKPortable.reg get applied but after closing the app the registry could not get deleted. Please Help

How can I make it so that when the installer runs to install the app onto the platform, it takes 2 files and places them in another place?
