Firefox Portable

I have downloaded "FirefoxPortableDeveloper_45.0_Alpha_2_EnglishGB_online.paf.exe" and installed it. When I run the FIrefoxPortable.exe, it shows this message:

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: firefox.exe could not be found)

I use windows in administrator mode but access the internet in a user mode by launching my browser and email client in user mode. I achieve this by launching these apps via DropMyRights.

the recent version of FF portable does contain also 64bit version. It takes some 98Mb (!) on the USB stick for nothing.
Is it possible without problems just to delete this folder or how otherwise remove this part?

Ever since Portable Firefox v42 came out I can no longer use it because it simply blue screens my computer before it ever finishes loading; it installs fine, but won't run at all. I didn't say anything before because I was waiting to see if v43 did the same thing and it does. I noticed that the filesize of the v41 install file is 43MB whilst the filesize of v43 is 93MB, more than double. I didn't save the v42 file so I don't know if whatever is in those additional 50MB is what's causing the issue. No other program causes this behavior.

I followed the advice that is presented to me as the end-user, and I changed my settings in FirefoxPortable\Other\Source, where FirefoxPortable.ini is but when I save the file in notepad, then re-launch Firefox the 32-bit version doesn't show up.

My metric for success is if I can get a game using Shockwave player to function, since Shockwave is separate from Flash, and any software that requires it now says there needs to be a plugin, which isn't loading because I'm using 64-bit Firefox.

I updated to FF 43 and only get the FF splash-screen when trying to launch. Had to acutally delete the App/Firefox64 directory to get FF 43 32-bit to launch.

I have the latest firefox and jportable (32 & 64bit) "installed". I read that firefox should automatically pick up java but it never does.I dont see anything in plugins and if i go to a java testing website it says java isn't detected.

Anyone have any ideas?

I updated to the recent release of FFPortable via portableapps and noticed with this release that extensions which were not signed by devs were immediately removed from the browser, one of those extensions that I use daily happens to be Adobes Acrobat PDF extension, which lets you convert web pages into a pdf etc...

Does influence installation of extensions on portability? Or it is necessary that one examines the portability for each extension separately?
