Firefox Portable

Hallo.
This problem popped up a couple of version ago, when Firefox switched from Option panel in floating window to in-browser page.
I can't say if the two things are connected, but I suspect.

First, I can connect to my Firefox account, but I receive a "Sync encountered an error while syncing. Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action" message at the bottom of the window, and neither automatically nor manually the syncing operation succeed.

Hi, is there a command line to install portable firefox in a specific directory?
Without asking me for options, only to have one line with specified install directory,
I am using windows 8.

I can see there are two versions of Firefox to download:
- Firefox 31.x ESR: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-portable-esr
- Firefox 38.x non-ESR: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

The link to the Firefox Nightly 64-bit version is not linked to where it starts a download. If you go to https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/test#nightly and click on the download now button for Version 41.0 Alpha 1 Pre Rev 2 x64, it just goes to a Sourceforge page with a directory and nowhere to download the portable app.

Firefox portable auto updated on startup. The program will not start now. it crashes immediately. If I select safe mode it also crashes. I can download a new copy but have lost all bookmarks and stored passwords. Is there any way to recover the bookmark data ? or repair the install ?

I'm new on this forum.
I have the following problem:
I uninstalled by mistake, firefox portable (portableapps is installed on a SD support), without making an esport of bookmark before.

Do you know how I can do to recover them?
Do you know some open source software to recover at least the file of bookmark (I think it's the file places.sqlite)

Any kind of help or suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, something seems to be wrong with Firefox Portable 38.0.5 (at least with the Dutch version?). It immediatly quits after startup.

On the last few days I cannon download the last Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition version.
I am getting the following error message:
"Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at cdn.mirror.garr.it."

when I click on thunderbird email urls nothing is loaded in firefox! nor another browser is opened, like chrome!
what is happening????

my firefox installed automatically probably and when I opened it I lost all my opened tabs!!!!!
they appeared as new tabs, but empty!!!!!
