Firefox Portable

Hello,

I am on a quick learning curve here.

I have Any Password on my portable apps drive, but need a "plug-in" or extension so that FireFox portable will allow me to login like RoboForm does for my PC with Internet Explorer.

I put Robform2go on my USB key, both in the root of the USB key {its default} as well as moved it to Portable Apps directory {where it won't run because the path isn't in the root}.

In either case, the interface and toolbar doesn't show up in Firefox portable.

Hi I have been trying to find information on how portable firefox works. I have serached many forums and have come up with nothing.

I am refering to if the app leaves recoverable data. As you are browsing does it write temp to the drive? and if so upon exit does this mean the data is still present and the only way to truly remove data is by erasing free space???

If anyone knows the answers to these questions please advise.

Hi there - I have just installed Firefox Portable version 2.0 (in fact I am using it right now). I can surf regular sites (like news.bbc.co.uk) However if I try to access my gmail account for example Firefox wont let me! --> "Server not found -Firefox can't find the server at www.google.com."

Help!!!! I think the problem is in the settings but I cant work it out! Thanks

Greetings to all as this is my first time on the forum. Earlier today, when I launched a Firefox Portable session via Login King, I got a message alerting me to a new version of Firefox being available (v2.001). Must be a maintenance release but I installed it anyway. Now the interface to Login King is defunct in that the id's and passwords are no longer automatically filled in.

Anyone experience this and have any ideas about how to proceed? Thanks in advance and have a happy New Year!

I use firefox portable and I have made it my default browser.
If I drag a URL to the desktop I create a shortcut to that URL. Now, if I click on it I get my firefox portable opening, but this time, with the default original settings. That is, no bookmarks and no settings.

What can I do to change that?

I just installed Firefox Portable to a memory card with a reader. I am not able to access the internet. There is no proxy and there is nothing wrong with the internet at my location. Am I missing something?

I understand that Portable Firefox is hardcoded to prevent accepting cookies, even if you set Firefox to accept cookies.
However, I knew that one can set Portable Firefox to accept cookies by modifying the file user.js, but forgot how to do it.
Can someone tell me which setting it is?

First at all: Tanks for ur work and sorry by my english(i'm spanish speaker)
I use Portable Firefox in a usb pendrive and also in my desktop pc(just backup portablefirefox folder when formating... =)). I have associated *.shtml, *.htm, *.html, *.xht and *.xhtml to FirefoxPortable.exe so the asociations works fine with filenames with no spaces, but when the filename has one o more spaces firefox doesnt open the file.
Looks like FirefoxPortable.exe pass the filename to Firefox.exe without the "" ... i'm right? that can be fixed?

Sorry, this must have been asked and answered 00s of times already, but I can't find it. I downloaded FF 2.0 and auto-updated to FF 2.0.0.1 no problem. No default settings have been altered at all. (I like them as they are.) When surfing there's no usb activity at all (good; everything is very fast) but screen presentation on second and subsequent page visits is not just fast, it's instantaneous. Where are all the pages, images, etc being cached? RAM? the HD?
