Firefox Portable

Hi portable apps forumers,

If there's a subscription forum/paid online course and I would like to setup such that user 1 from laptop 1 from location 1 and user 2 from laptop 2 from location 2 is able to access/login simultaneously without interruption.
How can I achieve that?

At the moment, when user 1 login and the next min user 2 login, user 1 will be auto log out.

FF portable is set to be the default browser - but when I click on links in other apps, their window loses focus, but FF won't get it. Any tips how I could fix this? The relevant config line I found, browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground is set to false.

In Mozilla Firefox portable where are the addons ( specifically NoScript) installed? Are they installed in the same directory where Firefox is installed( in my case Firefox is installed on D: drive) or are they installed on the main C: drive?

I upgraded to Windows 10 over the weekend. First Firefox Portable won't start saying that my profile is missing. I managed to fix that by move the profile to another directory, then started Firefox Portable, then copied the profile I moved into the new profile. I currently have Firexfox Portable 45.0.1, but I could not upgrade Firefox Portable to 46.0.1. I tried to upgrade it inside Firefox Portable (About Firefox), but it said I can't upgrade.

I am finding that web page links that are unresponsive when using the portable version of FF work fine when I access FF directly, even though it is the EXACT same version. More details:

I have Portable Firefox installed here: D:\FirefoxPortable.

In that folder is FirefoxPortable.exe, which is how I normally run FF (via a desktop shortcut). Doing it that way, an increasing number of links do not work.

But when I drill down and run FF directly from D:\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox\firefox.exe, the same links load just fine.

I just upgraded and everything seems magnified and some login data that is autocompleted in some pages is lost
plus I cannot open links from thunderbird and in the address bar it doesn't always show the current url, but a previous one!

horrible!!!
is the portable team responsible for that or mozilla?

Tried to get the new Mozilla Firefox Developer Edition, Portable 48 but it just opens https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/

Followed folders to https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/Mozilla%20Firefox%20... but it is empty?

closed firefox and got this message once

I was registered default browser to Firefox Portable.
used "RegisterFirefoxPortable.exe"

Hello everybody

The company I work for (Identitas AG, www.identitas.ch) has a very large Silverlight Browser Application which is used by about 60‘000 users.
By 01.01.2017 all major browsers (except Internet Explorer) will not support the Silverlight plugin anymore.
That’s why we are migrating our application away from Silverlight, but we will not be able to finish this task in time.
