I don't want FFP to prompt me all the time for updates. What needs to be changed to disable this?
The file locations and contents:
C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx-xx-xxx-xxxxxxxx\updates\FirefoxPortable\update-config.json
{"app.update.auto":false,"__DEFAULTS__":{"app.update.background.enabled":true}}
C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx-xx-xxx-xxxxxxxx\profile_count_FirefoxPortable.json
{"version":"1","profileTelemetryIds":["xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx-xxx-xxxxxx"]}
What are their purposes and how to turn them off?
Upon updating to v127.0, and upon first launch, two issues occurred:
1. First, I was prompted for a password. That's never happened before, and in my case, it shouldn't. I'm not using Sync, or Firefox's own password manager, so it was unexpected. I clicked Cancel.
Since the latest update of Firefox Portable the pull down menu's like "copy and paste" or the "Main Setup Menu" are not showing any textual information. On the "Main Setup Menu" the Ctrl+ commands show but the text to the left of them does not display. To verify this seems to be a Firefox Portable issue I installed Firefox on my Computer and all it's pull down menu's are working properly.
Okay, so I have two machines - each of them running Firefox Portable Dev Edition. One was v119, the other might have been v118.
I updated both of them to v127. Afterwards, Computer-A runs fine, but Computer-B gives the "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." error if you try to launch it again to open a new window (as opposed to Ctrl+N).
pretty much the title...
Firefox Portable in of itself runs perfectly fine on my laptop, but when I launch it from a third party app (an Antidetect Browser) it only half-loads most pages, there's missing fields and everything is all scrambled
for example, I can't check out on my Amazon account and when I went to purchase a gift card from Uber Eats earlier today, the email field was missing
any help would be appreciated!
I've tried just about everything
The description says: Firefox Portable is a dual-mode 32-bit and 64-bit app
The 32-bit part is missing!
Best Regards

Firefox 116 and later requires Windows 10 or later. Would you like to download Firefox Legacy 115?

Yes No

When watching a video, if you set it to 720p, sometimes the video resolution is automatically reduced to 480p or 360p. Occasionally, it seemed to me that the resolution, on the contrary, increased to 1080p. I tried turning hardware acceleration on and off, it had no effect. This does not happen in other browsers.
Hi All,
Sorry to bring up legacy apps but I am trying to configure legacy portable versions of Firefox v3.6.28, v10, v20, v30 to run on portable version of Java - this is due to the URL/App being access only support Java 6/7 BUT on the Windows OS there is local install of Java 8 that the URL/App will not support.
