Firefox Portable

If I'm using this fire fox portable from my work computer and searching the web can the it guys look at my searches from the server or locally on my machine(or their machine)?

I can download items no problems. The download screen does not pop up. I have it set to.
When I right click the mouse to svae images. It goes through the motions but does not save at all

I've found another instance of PortableApps being not quite invisible. If you download an image using r-click in Firefox, then the image shows up in the Recent directory on the host machine (as in Start -> Documents -> list of recent documents).

Can anything be done to stop this happening?

Language packs for Spanish (es-AR.xpi / es-ES.xpi) doesn't work.
After downloading, when you open and install the file, the dialog box stays frozen and nothing is installed.

I searched to see if anybody has had similar problems, and found this, but that problem was never really answered. I'm trying to install Firesomething, IE Tab, Menu Editor, Tab Killer, Splash!, and FoxFilter. I install them, restart FF portable, and all is fine. I then configure the options to what I want, and close FF portable. Upon starting FF portable again, all addons are gone. I am currently running Windows 2000 SP4. FF portable version is 2.0.0.6 and is running on the local hard drive.

I have been trying to setup my Portable and Desktop FireFox to synch data with various scripts and one one issue Im having is with FEBE. I have my portable FireFox setup exactly the way I want it with extensions and settings etc. I wanted to do a full backup/export of all this using FEBE but the problem is that FEBE will not export a profile named 'profile'. As portable FireFox doesnt have a profile manager does anyone know how I can change the name of the profile so I can use FEBE and make sure my portable FireFox wil continue to use the right profile?

Well I have been trying Firefox portable, portable apps etc and I cant copy all the files onto the Sansa, it always says some ico. files or something are read only then when i try to launch it says it cant find the firefox exe. Any ideas, Im leaving the country tomorrow.

Started FFP clicked "HELP" and clicked because I saw a option that say it was DL version 2.0.0.6; and "ABOUT" says I here version 2.0.0.6 ??

I have a portable hard drive that I use firefox on and I haven't experienced this problem ever until recently. I startup FF portable and all of my addons are gone. I only have my bookmarks but NON of the addons load. Bye bye google sync and everything else. I goto "add-ons" and they are there all enabled, but none are working. I disabled auto update which i thought was the problem, its still doing it!! How can i fix this for the future and right now to get my session manager back that has my 50 tabs i can't remember open!!? Thanks

I run FF 2.0.0.5 for several weeks. Now I updated to 2.0.0.6 and now Firefox is not able to open any page. I simply get the message "Unable to connect".

I downloaded the complete software again (so without any add ons and plug ins) but the original 2.0.0.6 version downloaded has the same problem. I connect directly to the internet and thats also the setting I applied.

Strange is, that IE or thunderbird has not problem at all.

Does anyone has an idea how to solve it?

I am connected to the internet now via IE.
