Features

VirtualDub Portable is a video capture/processing utility. It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. It has batch-processing capabilities for processing large numbers of files and can be extended with third-party video filters. Codecs Note: VirtualDub uses a combination of plugins for codecs (see the VirtualDub Portable Plugins Pack linked at the top of this page) and codecs on the local machine, so if you wish to use a non-standard codec like DivX or XVID, you'll need it installed. This is unavoidable at the moment.
