PChat™ is an IRC chat client packaged as a portable app. PChat is a fork of XChat made free from shareware issues the official XChat client has, so you can chat with your friends on PChat wherever you go. This release improves the tray feature and fixes an issue with language switching. Perl is also available as an add-on to add more functionality to PChat. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

We've just posted a PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Preview blog post with detailed info on the upcoming platform release. You'll find screenshots of the new updater, new theming engine, some of the 30+ themes included, options windows, branding and unicode support along with details of the features and functionality. The new beta will be posted in the next several days and 2.0 final is scheduled to release later in July.

Mozilla Developer Preview is an early developer milestone of the popular Firefox web browser bundled with a PortableApps.com Launcher as a portable app that is being built on top of Mozilla's Gecko 1.9.3 layout engine, Mozilla Developer Preview Alpha is being made available for testing purposes only, and is intended for web application developers and our testing community. (For everyday use, please use Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition.) The nightly build of Minefield 3.7 Alpha 6 Pre has also been made available.
