Hi PortableApps.com,
I have been using your cool suite for quite a while now and would like to request some apps for your collection. For this entry I would like to request CPU-Z and its counterpart GPU-Z.
I have seen several unofficial implementations of CPU-Z and GPU-Z, but I would like to have this application in the official "Get Apps" section.
Following the example template as shown in this thread: https://portableapps.com/node/4507
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Program: CPU-Z
License: Freeware
Description: System Profiler utility (with x86 and x64 variations) that is based on the CPUID SDK. It's designed to notify the user of their hardware specifications (CPU, RAM, Motherboard, GPU) in detail. Admin permissions are recommended but are not necessarily essential.
CPU-Z has already been portablised on their website, but isn't an official PortableApps.com application.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Program: GPU-Z
License: Freeware
Description: An extension of CPU-Z which is dedicated solely to providing GPU information to the user. Despite its name, GPU-Z isn't created directly by CPUID and instead is hosted on TechPowerUp. There is no official portable version, however the application is a single executable that runs on its own but appears to require admin permissions to run properly.

While I've never seen an official PA version of GPU-Z, I saw an un-official version of CPU-Z located at https://portableapps.com/node/14238. I found this by using the search menu. This was initially done by alpha1, but it appears to have become unsupported.
I discovered that the download no longer works. So I went and took my copy, that I installed years ago, when it came out (too bad I didn't save the original PAF file), and updated it to the latest version of CPU-Z. You can find it at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19318664/PAF/CPU-ZPortable_1_60_1_English.paf.exe.
Several things to keep in mind.
BTW...For those that are interested, I used PA Installer to create the PAF version of CPU-Z.![Smile](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/smile.gif)

I made my first portable apps in the PortableApps Format. I did this because CPU-Z and GPU-Z were outdated. Here are the results of my work![Wink](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/wink.gif)
CPU-Z
GPU-Z
Some notes:
CPU-Z is for x64 systems. If you want to use 32bit so you have to download it from the homepage click and extract it in /App/CPU-Z
I downloaded the GPU-Z version of RaYell a time ago and it isn't available anymore so i updated it to the Format 3.0 and had some trouble with the icon. I don't know what to do. Maybe someone can help.
There could be bugs or it doesn't work. Then report or help me to fix it.
Feel free to comment my beginner work.
CPU-Z you can find now on:

GPU-Z you can find now on:

Take a look at the date of the post you answered to.![Wink](https://portableapps.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/wink.gif)
And then a closer look at the download details. Maybe you click on the developer in the brackets. Guess what user you will find.
