Ok so I skipped beta 2 mostly because I set the version of beta 1 to 2.99.0.2 instead of 2.99.0.1.

I just finished writing a (very) simple launcher for WinFF, a GUI front-end for the FFMPEG command-line video encoder. I was having some trouble with the NSIS installer, so it's a ResHacked 7-Zip SFX archive instead. Also, the launcher is written in AutoIt3. Everything has been UPXed. The source is included in the WinFFPortable\Other\WinFFPortableSource directory. The download is just over 5MB. Enjoy!

WordFlashReader is an Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) program useful for anyone who has an electronic text or book they wish to read. It flashes each word of the text sequentially and pauses for punctuation. Opens *.txt, *.html, and *.pdf files.

Due to a slow Patrick and Ryan, I have taken it upon myself to make Juice Portable. You can read about all of Juice's features at it's homepage.

Juice is a podcast downloader, including many features from the popular application iPodder. It has a favorites feature, RSS, and more.

In Test 5, I changed the coding a bit to accommodate the folder structure.

Note: GnuCash Portable 2.2.4 is now in Pre-Release.

GnuCash Portable has been updated to GnuCash version 2.2.4. This release is a Development Test to iron out any bugs that may come about with the change to the new version of GnuCash. Note that the latest release, 2.2.4 Development Test 1, has been released as a full installer due to new GnuCash 2.2.4 binaries.

A pre-release of Toucan 1.2.1 is now up, it hopefully fixed all of these bugs:

1. Non silent in equilise-sync during console mode
2. Help file, make command line location clear
3. Equilise problem
4. Drive pvar
5. Folder exclusions in backup
6. Backup in zip mode, solid mode needs to be switched off.
7. Secure stalls
8. Restore failure
9. Restore needs overwrite
10. No encryption in incremental
11. Incremental backup with maximum compression
12. Overwrite backup jobs

I wrote this because I miss having the 7-Zip context menu to quickly create archives while running portably. It supports just the ZIP and 7Z formats, but you can choose the compression level, whether to add or update files, and to use solid mode or not for 7z archives.

Configure your path to 7z.exe (the 7-Zip commandline utility) in the 7Zip.ini file. You can specify either a full or relative path. The relative path uses the drive letter the launcher resides on, so the rest of the path must be specified.

Does anyone know why Pnotes basically dissappeared a couple monthe ago?
I liked the App and I think he even did an update but noone packed it or something...

Or is it just sleeping till the more important stuff (hint*hint) gets out the door...?

*opt.Dict selection fixed (only the Dicts wich don't belong to the selected language will be deleted).

as promized here is the OOoP Option Pack as first BETA.
Please don't use it before You backup Your OOoP installation and data!
(It should work without problems but keep in mind, it is BETA).

At the moment it is for testing/developing only, but it should work with all
OOoP 2.3.1 Rev2 installations without problems.
