Portable App Development

I'm currently talking to the TinyResMeter developer about making a PAF-compliant build of it.
For those who aren't familiar with TinyResMeter, here's a quote from the homepage:

TinyResMeter is a small tool that displays useful information about system resources in real time, but it also gives much more detail when you right-click on the displayed fields !

I don't know what the specific term would be, but is there any way to block/lock-out the right-click option in the PAP, like adding a script to an ini file or something? After Ive hidden an App on the list, I dont it being unhidden.

I am trying to implement code in a launcher to modify the path to the App directory within an ini. Is there a good example in a launcher or something I could look at/lift out? Below is the ini file.

AppDir = "C:\VTPSUHM\"
MessagesEnabled = 1

I had a question about the PA Platform Menu. Is there anyway to customize the Platform Menu. Like on top of or instead of listing only portable apps, allowing a user to add specific files contained in the drive (whether it be docs, videos, or audio files) to the list. And customizing the Interface color scheme. If no feature like this exists, could one be developed?

I am creating Age of Empires 1 Portable. This is NOT going to be distributed in any way as this is for my personal use. I will be happy to upload the launcher for anyone who wants it.

I have created a launcher for the game. However, when it starts to launch, I get an error: "Could not initialize graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw." I cannot figure out why it gives me this error.

i found this thread here at Portableapps.com for making Portable PS CS2 : https://portableapps.com/node/1426 and as i browsed through GOOGLE i came across a number of TUTS with the same method/procedure. But i couldn't find any response from some who actually was able to make one with the steps outline.
So i guess i m not the only one having trouble with the TUT, i followed everything in the TUT but i still keep getting errors, PS CS2 simply wont open.:?

Instructions:
1. take latest chromium build here
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp/
2. extract chrome-win32.zip in Application folder
make sure that path to chrome.exe is
Application\chrome.exe
and not
Application\chrome-win32\chrome.exe

I want to start Google Chrome with the command --proxy-server=localhost:8080. I read that it is possible to include this command in the exe file. But trying to do this since a couple of hours. Is there any tutorial or something similar?
