The current releases of jPortable, jPortable 64-bit, Ghostscript Portable, and GPG Portable have been repackaged with the latest PortableApps.com Installer and posted for download. Existing users who had already updated to the current releases of those 3 plugins do not need to update and will not be prompted to update within the PortableApps.com Platform. The plugins themselves are not being updated. These releases are intended for new users, users updating from older versions today, and our third party partners that make our open source software available.

The PortableApps.com Installer allows you to quickly package your portable apps in an easy-to-use installer without having to write or compile any code. This release updates the bundled NSIS and 7-Zip to the latest versions, adds machine translations for Malagasy, Pashto, and Uzbek, and adds a verification for manual selection of a CommonFiles plugin install location. The PortableApps.com Format Specification and installer are available for outside developers to use and can be used freely with free open source and freeware applications.
