umm, how would one change the directory in which the portable apps browser looks for my media?
i am running this off of my memory stick for my PSP and i want the my music, video, and pictures to be in the root/MUSIC folders ETC..

Hello all. It seems to me that we might be able (eventually) to make portable apps our selfs. I wish I could code and implement ANY of these ideas myself, but I did want to share them.

Reading different threads it came to me... why not use a program that monitors the installation of normal applications as to recreate its environment when launched? I've seen these apps (in some form) for years.

I am currently using putty portable via .bat files to access my servers. I would like to configure these .bat files to utilize command prompt portable instead, and be able to store these .bat files in another folder (such as the PAM docs folder).

For instance, currently in the putty portable folder I have a .bat file to access a server as follows:

start PuTTYPortable -P 22 -ssh 111.111.11.111 -l myuser -pw mypassword

Hi, I'd like to switch to the MPlayer portable version, however I have a few questions.

1) It's possible to change skins in the portable version?
2) I tried to watch a DVD (Justice League Season 1), however it does not play the menu, but it starts the version of all the chapters. Is this normal behaviour of the MPlayer or of the MPlayer Portable?

It would be great to have an Exchange client on a USB. Can anyone tell me how to install Evolution? As far as I know it uses WebDav to connect to the Exchange server.

Thunderbird will only work with POP or IMAP, but is otherwise tremendous.

Love this application; 10 out of 10. In the future, hopefully near future, can you add the language used for programming with the Cell Broadband Engine (the processor in the Playstation 3). If you could do that I would give this a rating of 20 out of 10; yes with that alone.

I'm glad using my new xampp portable, with the XAMPP-launcher. But I've been triyng to install PhpDocumentor to it, without success..

I've even tried to instal PhpDocumentor to my desktop xampp, only to copy the files. But had no success either...

The way I tried is:
>cd c:\xampp\php
c:\xampp\php>pear install PhpDocumentor

The answer is:
