OperaMail - can't open through the PA interface

Submitted by BillBliss on February 28, 2018 - 8:39am

When I go to the PortableApps interface and click on Opera Mail I get a message saying: Cannot find "d:\PortableApps\\operamail.dll" - and, of course, Opera Mail won't open. If I navigate to the OperaMailPortable directory, and doubleclick the OperaMaiPortable.exe directly, it works fine.

How do I get this to launch normally?

Thanks in advance!

[Bug] GnuCash report data directory being saved locally

Submitted by DanRe on February 24, 2018 - 5:44pm

GnuCash portable 2.6.19, is saving some data on the local computer in the operating system determined user directory, no matter what I do. It is expected that data will be saved in '[GnuCashPortable]\Data', but instead data is being saved in 'C:\Users\[User]\.gnucash'.

This breaks portability, because this is where Customized Reports are saved. (I'm sure that other things are saved here as well.)

PotPlayer and High-Contrast-Mode

Since I work due to my eye disabilities in high-contrast-mode (black windows, yellow font, white borders), I'm always curious for apps to fulfill the requirements for high-contrast-mode, or not.

I installed today, February 19th, 2018, and tried Pot Player on Windows 7 and first I was glad to have "dark" theme, but then I opened the about dialog, the settings, etc. and was totally unable to use them, because of yellow text (default system color) on white or light background!

Stellarium Screenshot Folder

Submitted by david_omp on December 28, 2017 - 3:16pm

I might have queried this before without resolution.
Within the app (installed on drive D:\Portableapps) if I chose a specific folder for screenshots, say D:\Temp, Stellarium always reverts to creating a folder "Documents" with subfolder "Pictures" on the root of D:

Might there be a resolution please?

Thanks, David.
