Is there a postal mailing address for sending checks as donations?
There are two things bugging me about the PortableApps launcher. The first one was when it stopped working from system folders, like ProgramFiles. I believe that should be an on/off feature, not an ultimatum. We portable software enthusiasts are power users, aren't we? But I kinda got used to it.
Another thing that keeps nagging me is that "xyz did not close properly last time" popup. It mostly happens the next portable app launch after I shutdown the PC without quitting the app.

Hi!
I use PortableApps on a cloud-service. Because this I didn´t have so much space. Last updates the launcher installs let the folder grow. Why?
Is it simple because the updated app is bigger as the old or are there any install/backup files with the update?
Hope you can understand my question. Thank you.
Hi -
Firstly, love portable apps... I find it a really convenient way of having apps I use available to use either on my own PC's or others using DropBox...
Anyway, I have an issue and was thinking something like PortableApps - if not Portable Apps itself - might be a solution. I have an air-gapped network with no internet access. Is it possible to get the portable Apps client to search a prestaged, pre-populated repository of permitted apps?
I first created some Scribus files on my desktop and put them on a jump drive. I figured that the Scribus program would also have to be present for those files to open. So I downloaded the portable version of Scribus on the the flash drive. The files would not open.
As Firefox is ending support for extensions very soon, it looks like it will become rather useless then.
Which browser will still be able to use some extensions after Nov 17?
Which browser is recomended replacement?
Chrome based once are not really an alternative, as they can not be made portable really, so what will remain?
There seems to be very many processes for a single program:

Is it like it should be?
When I open PortableApps.com, it prompts for me to update the apps. I allow that but, during the updates, Malwarebytes audibly warns that "Threats have been detected". What happened?
Tried to find this in the forum but could not find an answer: Why do all the apps consist of separate files instead of stored in a container.
Memory sticks are much faster with a large single file than with all the seperate small files
Hello Forum
I am new to PortableApps and the forum, I know nothing about Java apart from it needs to be updated to stop mallware and other nasties.
JDownloader portable is a big plus, Thank you to the team or person involved in creating this also Thank you to the many people who develop other portable apps. I have tried my best to sort this issue out but dont seem any further forward after spending the whole day trying to figure it out.
