Hello,

I was wondering if PortableApps stored early version.

For example I go to the "Get Apps" tabs and I scroll down to Skype. When I get on the Skype app page its usually the latest version. (Thanks)

But is there a way for me within that page to see and download an earlier version, portable of course.

Sometimes its really needed.

I'm not sure if you can assist me but I'm trying to figure out if there is any logic to determining the new locations of the the version#_chrome_installer.exe on the Google edge download servers.

I keep on eye open over at the http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/ blog and look for new DEV build version releases.

I recently purchased a Kingston 16GB DataTraveler 101G2 (uninstalled the Urdrive application) to replace an old SanDisk that was getting poor read/write speeds. I used FastCopy Portable to copy about 14GB of files/apps to the Kingston. It took about two hours.

The "Other" category in the utilities section is getting pretty large so I thought why not add a "system utilities" section or somthing the like with system utilities and cleaners:

    AquaSnap Portable (Freeware) - Screen productivity enhancement
    BleachBit Portable - cache, temp file and history cleaner
    Checksum Control Portable - create and verify MD5/SFV checksums
    Command Prompt Portable - Simple link to a customizable command prompt
    Console Portable - console window enhancement
    Disk Cleaner Portable - cache, temp file and history cleaner

Is it possible? What is the way to do it?

By the way how can I search the forum?

I was having problems with my 3 year old USB 2 Patriot Rage Xporter connecting to the computer, here is what was causing the problem. It blew me away. I never knew this could have happen.

Any idea how to create a new profile for Thunderbird portable? I know how to do it for Thunderbird on my PC,[ thunderbird.exe -profilemanager ] but no idea how to access profile manager on Portable Apps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This directory: "\App\DefaultData" is changing (overriding) after update the portable app?

I am thinking to copy all files of "\Data" directory to "\App\DefaultData". So If someone will change my app settings, I can bring back my own default (old) settings by removing "\Data" directory? Is that possible?

Hi I really need to be able to run two instances of firefox portable, one that is an older version of firefox which I can skin to look like internet explorer, and another that is the latest version which is demand to view some websites.

If I make a copy of the portable and and try and run it again is say one instance is already running.

I have tried renaming .exe's etc to no avail, it still says it is already running with the first instance.

Can anyone advise if its possible to get two instances running and how I might do it.

I just signed up, and was hoping to get some direction on a travel app we want to develope. Is this the right forum for that?
The app is a travel app, which would have locations of restaurants, gas stations, hotels, equine centers and the like. Where do I start?
Is there software out there that is available to me that if I want the location of a hotel in Redding Calif, It would give me all the hotels in and around Redding? or if I wanted to find the nearest Diesle truck shop in Nampa Idaho it would do the same?
I didn't know where to start, so here I am
