I can't stand how Firefox portable freezes. Drives me crazy. I think I am going to go wit this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?Edp... for an alternative. Has to be smoother/faster.

Here is an email I got, I am wondering if it was deleted or some sort of spam/bot/hack/scam etc...

i can't get mods from www.wz2100.net to work. i followed the instructions, but they are for the standard app, not portable. the mod is currently in E:\PortableApps\Warzone2100Portable\mods\autoload. OS is either windows 7 or XP on the machines i use. please help!

In the new Launcher menu, we see:
Backup
Manage Apps
Options

PortableApp's launcher is designed to launch portable apps, so we know it's all about apps. There is no need for the word '... Apps' appended to 'Manage' anymore than there is for a 'Backup Apps'. "Apps" is a given.

The long-labeled 'Manage Apps' disrupts the interface's balance and logic. 'Manage' aligns with 'Backup' and 'Options'.

I suggest this label be changed to 'Manage' before the official 2.0 release.

For some bizzare reason every once in a while some spammer decides to do a keyboard dump into one of the forums. what is the best way to alert staff that this has happened??

Would anyone be interested to have the menu appear in ALT + TAB?

I tried, PAL, freeUPX, 2 apps i made portable, 7zip. . .
I observed all of them move their data on c:\users\appdata. Even if configured on launcher.ini
[LiveMode]
copyapp=false.
And freeUPX, even running on admin rights, wont work at all, though it run.
This things did'nt happen on WinXP.

when I click search the web from the platform it always open up firefox portable but I also have chrome and opera, how do I change this to either chrome or opera portable?
