Launcher/Menu/Appearance: Change 'Manage Apps' to 'Manage'

Submitted by Kevin Paul on April 25, 2011 - 7:17pm

In the new Launcher menu, we see:
Backup
Manage Apps
Options

PortableApp's launcher is designed to launch portable apps, so we know it's all about apps. There is no need for the word '... Apps' appended to 'Manage' anymore than there is for a 'Backup Apps'. "Apps" is a given.

The long-labeled 'Manage Apps' disrupts the interface's balance and logic. 'Manage' aligns with 'Backup' and 'Options'.

I suggest this label be changed to 'Manage' before the official 2.0 release.

My portable apps all run on live mode in win7?

Submitted by Devildevilscle on April 21, 2011 - 10:42am

I tried, PAL, freeUPX, 2 apps i made portable, 7zip. . .
I observed all of them move their data on c:\users\appdata. Even if configured on launcher.ini
[LiveMode]
copyapp=false.
And freeUPX, even running on admin rights, wont work at all, though it run.
This things did'nt happen on WinXP.
