I posted something ages ago about skins/themes but didn't get any replies.

Is skinning or applying themes to the App Launcher possible without modifying the 'default' skins? I've searched and found very little other than using patheme files or a folder located in `PortableApps\PortableApps.com\Data\Themes` but that didn't work, I also tried the default directory for themes and that didn't work.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, or at least tell me if it's possible?

I can't find any offline installer for a specific old chrome version and the online installer has failed as I expected with an error 404 not found. I can not use latest version as it is not compatible with my OS. Can you please replace the online installers with offline installers, for all old versions of chrome?

I also upgraded from 139 to 140, but all my add-ons are still there.

First, delete everything in the [Data] folder next to the app in the portable version of Google Chrome. Please save your Google Chrome data beforehand to avoid losing it.

Then restart Google Chrome, log in to your Google Account, and sync your data. Once the sync is complete, all your existing add-ons will automatically load and install in Google Chrome.

Ye, many people have requested this feature for many years, but the developer has never response for it.
Is it so hard to make it?
I don't understand.

This is not a criticism as I know it is a lot of work to keep all the apps on portableapps up to date. And I thank the team for their work and effort.

Originally I had PortableApp installed to my Google Drive account. Everything worked but it was sooo sluggish to launch PA applications and my PC seemed to take longer to idle down after a restart. The worse offending thing seemed to be running web browsers from cloud. Google Drive was constantly uploading temp files from the web browers (google/firefox/opera) as I used them. This not only slowed down my network but I constantly had to purge my GD trashcan of these files.

I have an Internet service which Speed tests to 0.58 mbps. It is slow, yes. PrortableApps downloads will fail on my computer. Its download code can't restart from a failure point. Thus there are problems of installing Apps and updating Apps.

Help me understand how to implement the function of adding my hosts.txt file to the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file in PortableApps in such a way that before loading (a copy of the original hosts file was made to the hosts_backup file name), it was added hosts.txt to hosts, and after closing the program, the hosts file was deleted from hosts_backup and renamed to the original name? Just write where to write the names of the .cmd or .bat files that will be run, because I can't find information about this in your documentation. Thank you.
