What is the MINIMUM storage capacity to install Portable Apps on a USB Flash drive?
I tried to submit a request for a new app over at the Request Apps thread, but my comment was flagged as spam.
Can't download - file not found (404).
Is there a way to disable the subject when replying to messages on the forum?
I understand the purpose of it when you're creating a topic but it doesn't seem to serve a purpose for replies and I constantly find myself ( a ) having to make something up when replying or (b) forgetting to put something in the subject and having to edit the reply because it just grabs the first few words of the reply and puts it in the subject.
I notice that when I open an Internet link from my e-mail programs, Chrome PA opens them in an extra window. How do I get these links to open in the same PA Window...as in the Google Chrome non PA?
I've developed an open source note-taking app, which currently needs to be installed but since it only reads and writes from its own profile directory it would be easy to make it portable. As a PortableApps user myself I wouldn't mind doing the extra work to package it.
I'm wondering though what are the criteria to get an app accepted here? Basically before doing the work of making it portable and packaging it, is there any way to know if it's going to be accepted?
I scanned gramps portable version using latest clamwin portable version(virus database updated to today's edition). I think there's a malware in it.Report was as follows:
Can we please have a common Google Chrome Portable package for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions just like Firefox ? Why is Google Chrome Portable 64 bit distributed as a separate package ? Pardon my lack of technical knowledge. I hope Mr. Haller or someone out there has the proper answer to this.
Can't download 5.39, File Not Found (404) for some time now.
Seems to be still pointing to 5.38.
Is this a known problem, when will it be fixed?
I'm just wondering if it is safe to use it on public. I hope it doesn't leave any files or spyware...
