I've portablized Zotero 5 (see https://portableapps.com/node/56957), and somehow I cannot edit the first post anymore - I've got a spam alert each time I try to edit. I reported the error, but still cannot update my post, one week after.
Is it possible to unlock it?

Is there any portable app that I can run off my USB drive and make a backup of my iPhone? I am on a University public computer and cannot download Itunes or any application to it to make a backup before I have to erase the iPhone. I've tried searching the threads and google, sorry if this is in the wrong location. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for making it hard to ask a simple question (like all other fora: signup required; 4xGoogle captcha at signup, again Google captcha when posting).

I recently updated to PortableAppsMenu 14.4.1 and the problem now is that every time the screen resolution changes to something lower, and then back to a higher resolution, PortableAppsMenu will appear somewhere in the middle of the screen, not at the bottom right task bar.

Previously I was using an older version (>5yo) that did not have this problem.

Is this a bug and can I work around it somehow?

This appears to be a common error, associated with mixing 32bit and 64bit DLLs?

Most of my PortableApps are suddenly failing with this on my Windows 10, x64 machine where Portable Apps in in fact installed on my secondary hard drive.

I recently managed to use the various guides and tools here to create a portable version of a game I have. I am currently trying to determine if I would be allowed to post a link to my work here.

The game in question is a free ad-supported game that was released back in 2006 by a game publisher that ultimately went out of business (Midway Games). Being ad-supported, it requires a connection to some ad servers to run and the game refuses to start if there is no connection to the servers available.

(For example, I don't want to upgrade Firefox to version 57. Even the new Adblock+ became real crap in this release. And the other good extensions such as Noscript, Flashgot, Flashblock and many others are not compatible).

I am trying to find an app that is portable. I have systems that will come back to our factory from the field. And I am trying to find a method and tool(s) to scan them for viruses. These are standalone systems which have not direct internet connection. I have both Windows and Linux systems. I need a way to scan as well as update virus definitions prior to scanning.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

At least, it looks like a witch's hat. I think it's only happened in the last hour. Is it a seasonal type thing, a visual alert of something, or perhaps it's telling me that one of my apps is evilly out of date? ;-D
