It would be interesting to know if PortableApps will offer the possibility of installing BlueGriffon among the applications that are downloaded from your page. At some point it was a project for the "Development" directory, taking into account that Nvu and KompoZer had stopped updating, but since then it has not been known ... For many of us it would be excellent news.

After some updates 2 or 3 weeks ago I was asked to enter admin Login data. So I cannot run any portable apps as I did before.
Older apps are usable, but the newest updated apps are no more usable.
But I need especially Free Commander and AntiTwin really often.
For what shall I use portable apps, when they're not working??

There was an ongoing outage at SourceForge which is affecting some downloads both from our website and the PortableApps.com Platform. As of 10:30am NY time on Mar 4 it appears to finally be fully resolved.

Background

Very good to all users, currently I present a very serious problem in the app that affects the performance, and I can't get install or update some apps, the error that comes out is 'not downloaded correctly and can not be installed, blablabla, problems related to the network, etc ... '. I tried downloading these apps manually, and it turns out that sourceforge doesn't load correctly either, it keeps loading indefinitely. Do you have any plan B for these cases? Otherwise, the application will be compromised since many users will not be able to add the things they want so much.

I change the temporary LibreOffice files to a folder on my drive, but when I open Libre again it always shows the user's path in "temp" in C: \ Users \ MyUser \ AppData \ Local \ Temp

Is there a possibility to solve this?

We've been brainstorming ways to ensure that PortableApps.com remains an ongoing project for a while. There are a few things I'd like to be able to do with the project and, as most folks have noticed, SourceForge downloads continue to be an issue for us. They're currently unavailable within the platform and only partially working within the browser (a big issue since about 74% of downloads are platform-based) and we're unable to upload new releases. This is the second DDoS in a week that has resulted in an outage.

there are some security software offers (file locker, ROHOS, USBSafeguard) that set up an encrypted virtual drive on USB stick for data.
Has anyone got Thunderbird to work properly and fast with such a method?

I tried installing Balabolka (Text to Speech tool) yesterday and Symantec end point protection gave this alert and quarantined the file:

And today I tried again after I found a new version and this time it gave a new alert:

When will VLC be updated? Version 3.0.0 is available since the beginning of February and works perfectly. Is there any reason for this very "curious" and "symptomatic" delay?

Tried to update an app today, got the error. Later I wanted to install an app, got the same error. I tried to download the app .exe from the website, and it refreshes between https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/portableapps/ and
https://downloads.sourceforge.net/#!/project/portableapps/

Is there something I'm doing, or a problem with the website today?
