Hi, I'm sorry to ask, but does LibreOffice come out this year? I'm trying to switch to an installable version, because it takes a while to get the portable version.

I tried to install "ProcessExplorerPortable_16.21_online.paf.exe" and it says "downloaded copy of Process Explorer is not valid and can not be installed".

Windows 8.1 core 64-bit

The support link in the Help menu opens with Google Chrome. This is not my default browser, please open other links in the default browser instead of other browsers.

Links to other Windows applications will open in the default browser, so the system will not be configured.

Are there any easy to use portable applications that I could use in order to convert VHS tapes to AVI files?

I am not sure where to post this but I felt that I must.

I have gone through every app on here and cannot find anything that will do what i want, so i'm posting here for 2 reasons, firstly is there a portable app that will do what i need and secondly if no portable apps does a full blown app (free or payware) do what i need, so what is it i need?

As the subject line indicates, I'm having problems after upgrading to Foxit Portable v. 9.3.0.10826, last week.

Initially, I sought help on the Foxit Reader forum, http://forums.foxitsoftware.com/forum/portable-document-format-pdf-tools....

Can' install CDex. Halfway through it shows an "REGET error" and says it cannot install and the installation will be incomplete without it.. Any suggestions

Hello Forum,
Have some portable programs installed on the portable platform in a usb stick.
When I am trying to eject it, I close the platform's window, click on "End task" in the Task Mgr, then I try to eject it from the file explorer. It says that something is still open in some program - but it is not. Then I restart windows explorer, but it still refuses to eject. Go to the "Devices" and try to remove it - it still says some program holds it and to close 'that' program. There is no program opened.
1. How can I find what holds it, or,
