No I'm not asking for a tool... I just found one. I thought I'd share it because I recall a bunch of you guys have been looking for something like this, so here it is. My apologies if this has been posted 7013 times before.

I haven't tried it yet but it sounds promising. FYI I found it via http://www.portablefreeware.com/

Looking for simple Timer / Reminder - Tool

Submitted by atreiju on February 25, 2008 - 8:22am

Hi,

I'm looking for a very simple, lightweight, portable Timer / Reminder - Tool.
It should be possible to set

1. a time, when it has to remind me.
2. a timer, to remind me after 45min.
3. the text for the message-window, which should appear when the time has come.

That's all. Of course it would be great to have other options, like shutdown windows etc, but that's not important, because i have an other tool for that.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Ping John

Any updates on the apps that we've been developing?

I've seen a few sporadic remarks that maybe one of Patrick's apps is coming, and that Simeon's Assault Cube is coming, and an extremely general "if i saw your app in a weekly update, it's coming" but for the most part, NONE of the current developers have gotten any sort of comment on their apps specifically, whether it be in the app topic itself, or in your weekly updates where we tell you our apps are ready for go-live.

Howdy all and welcome to another exciting PortableApps.com Update. I must apologize for not keeping on the ball with an update last week, so there's extra punch and pie in the back for anyone who wants some. Now lets get down to business.

I don't mean to gush, but it is only now that I'm reaping the full benefits of PortableApps.

I live in the United States. Up until now, my experience with PortableApps has been using them on my friends computers, my parents computers, or a few random office computers. I liked the concept, and it worked very well.
