Disable the Windows 7 Taskbar Icon - 12 beta 2

I am a long time PA user. I recently downloaded the beta version 12 beta 2, however, when I add the line under [DisplayOptions] in the ini file, as instructed, I still see the icon. Though I am using Win 8.1, this works with the regular 11.2 version. Is this something that is known? A search of the forum did not turn up anything related tot his circumstance.

I've put it together in PAF format for my own use, but I thought it would be a hit with X11 forwarders, so here I am posting it. I do however offer this up to anyone who wants to take over and get this thing pushed to the platform officially.

John, we went through a detailed issue with updating a while back and together discovered that issues with the liveupdate package is causing some unexpected results, but eventually using AUTOMATIC mode and some other tweaks, we got things on track for now.

However, today out of the blue it started acting wonky again. Yeah I know, not the most technical description but you know what I mean. Here is the details as I know them.
