Just out of interest

Does anyone else use portable apps in conjunction with dropbox, to keep all their apps synced (like firefox last session) and up to date in one go across multiple computers? I do, and other than having to manually do the file extensions on each PC it works pretty well.

Just wondering

Kind regards

To the many people who've asked for a portable version of Windows.... It's in the works here: http://www.everythingusb.com/windows-to-go-21338.html Will it compete with PortableApp.com? Yeah. Will it win? Probably not. Myself, I'm staying here because I trust the apps here "to work". But after all of the negative attention about flash/usb devices, it's good to see something positive mentioned about them.

#include

int main()
{
system("cls");
printf("It's a cruel world! I will eat worms");
printf("\n\n\n");
printf("Jan. 20, 2013, The Great Correction will come");
printf("\n\n\n");
printf("Are you talking to me??");
printf("\n\n\n")
}

does this work? i am taking a programing class and because i use linux the way one compiles is a bit different and some of the system commands are different too like cls works in windows but not in linux.

Help. I installed p.a.download, not to my windows C drive but to my removable USB stick.

Hi everyone. I installed a portable apps.com download to my removable USB stick. It is 8 GB in size. I was thinking that I would be able to use the USB stick if I got a new PC or laptop for windows.

How can I delete the PA platform and so on from the USB memory stick?

Is it possible to "wipe" the drive clean from the USB stick?

Thank you.

hahahahahahahahah

It would be a whole lot less effort, and less of a joke, if the phrase "Full Status Update Expected " were followed by the word "tomorrow". That way it would always be accurate.

hahahahahahah

Or add the year 2012 to the end of the dates posted.

hahahahahah

Unbelievable. Someone fluked the course on time management big time.

And yes I know this is just a forum and the apps are free and the members are donating their time and etc. But so to are most members of a church and their services start on time.

Greetings to the community. I'm a 30+ year old mil vet, and family man recently turned programming student. Since I have neither laptop nor netbook and work at my community college's library I have to use different computers all the time. I started using PA.c platform a few weeks ago and upgraded to the beta version (so far so good) no too long ago. I'm mostly using the portable IDE's Notepad++, Dev-Cpp 4.9.9.2 (the .paf version from the forums, the version from bloodshed.net tanked the registry on one of my school's puters), and I have Portable Python 3.2.0.1 running on the platform.
