I am using Apple iTunes 8 and have noticed that it slows down the whole system when it is running, especially when ripping CD's, making my computer almost unusable. I am using AMD Sempron 1.79GHz with 512M RAM. It struggles when Firefox 3 is running slow with iTunes, but fast otherwise. Any suggestions or alternatives?

I'm looking for a good easy to use DVD Ripper. I don't really care if it's OSS or not I just need a free one. The prefered format would be for the Ipod/Zune format (mp4). Or at least have the ability of it being a convertable format. If anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it. I've tried HandBrake before on both XP and Vista. It doesn't seem to be able to get rid of the protection on the DVD so it fails :(. Any help you can give me would be appreciated!

Because sometimes i zip them so that they will be smaller and be uploaded faster.

I have been working on a spreadsheet in OpenOffice.org Calc and MS Excel for my GCSE coursework.

The forumla I need to make uses =IF to produce a result depending on the input.

=IF(C17="Bike",3,IF(C17="Run",3,IF(C17="Rollerblade",3,IF(C17="Walk",2,0))))

The cell next to it (C17) will contain a method of travel (e.g. Walk, run), and the cell with this formula needs to display a number (0, 1, 2 or 3) depending on the input.

I was wondering why my formula isn't working, and is there a way to go =IF and then put 2 logical tests in.

I think you all know corsair Flash Voyager the well-known fastest flash drive. But i found kingston's hyperx which is also very fast.

In terms of speed,performance and price, which of the two is better?

I have learned C# and VC# and I confronted my teacher a few days back and asked him the same question about whether VC# has outdone Visual Basic.NET and whether I should learn Visual Basic as well and his response was that within one or 2 years you will see that Visual Basic will disappear as VC# is way better and used by more people,However when I got onto Wikipedia I found that Visual Basic does have a huge market share though it is diminishing as compared to VC#,so were his words true?

I was wondering if there is a program (portable maybe?) you'd recommend to point to a URL and it would then follow all links within that URL and save them.

I can't give you raw data but you might as well try it. peazip's sfx are a little bit smaller than 7zip's sfx.
