and i do know that there is an itunes proggy out there that displays your album art as a scrsaver but i am talking about stuff like this.

hey i need to modify some registry entries, essentially i am trying to make an app portable that makes a registry entry.
how do I use C++ do delete a registry entry?
I am sort of changing the question now, how do the portable apps here deal with the registry(like firefox, 7-zip), how do you keep things from popping up in the registry

kindof an odd thing to be asking but does anyone know where i can get a copy of Sega Smash Pack (Volume 2)? or do you have a copy? i used to be obsessed about it but whenever i serch it with any search engne, all i get is stuff about smash pack 1.

Is there a command for use in a batch file that will let you run something only if it is a certain computer name, logon name, etc?

Ok so I am looking at PuTTY, FileZilla, FireFtp, and SCP. What I want to do is just transfer small files from one computer to a server, nothing really serous... Ok, mabie experment with a litte FTP to get my feet wet. So, which one of the 4 would be the best without having too much (as in features I will never use) with some decent security.

That looks like something that could be easily corrected. Something like...

There is a new company called I-FLAPP ( google it ) who are offering a new USB drive system which claims to be able to run microsoft windows apps from the USB drive. I made the mistake of purchasing this and have been unable to install anything at all to the drive. Needless to say the support and FAQ is very poor.
If anyone has had a better experience with this I would like to hear about it.

K. I get a computer froma friend. Nice computer. Great computer 512 mg ram, 3.06 ghz processor, 160 hardrive- I set it up, get everything going,- BAM- the power core fails. Okay. Great, call hp, they send me a new one, overnight.

Install it- the instructions suck, but who cares? Its installed, it reuns fine.

At the end of the warranty period, it stops working. No customer care, pay us money to fix it (to the tune of 100 dollars.) Its summer, I'm not working can't afford it. Fine. Whatever.
