Firefox Cookies, and a 3D Tux Cake

I laughed SO hard.

This isn't specific to PAM, but I don't know where to ask for help. Today, I upgraded to Windows Vista. On it's first run, everything worked fine at first. Then most of my system tray notification icons were gone. The programs were listed as running in task manager. Does anyone know what caused this or how to get them back? (Other then a reboot)

Ok most programs have been made portable, or at least have some work around to make it portable. But here is one way to make most programs portable.

Now I am not going to give you any programs (especially not my copy of WinRar which I will be using as demo for this topic), but I will tell how you can make your own copy of WinRar or any other program portable.

To start, you should install WinRar (or your own program) to a directory in your PortableApps folder (I'll call mine WinRar for this illustration). Installing to this directory should create another folder called WinRar

Ok, so I get really get mad that often, but this certainly made me mad.

I opened Firefox nearing the end of August, and Firefox Start said to check out the new Mozilla Store for back to school clothing. I thought it sounded pretty cool to finally get some good Firefox Merchandise. So here's the story:

03/09/07:

• Ordered Army Green Firefox T-Shirt
• Recieved e-mail telling me my T-Shirt was back-ordered until the 19th of Sep.

24/09/07: (Week after T-Shirt was back-ordered until)

I think it's time we start to recommend that people using AVG AntiVirus uninstall that program. How many false-positives is it responsible for in these forums?

The final straw for me is this recommendation from the ReadMe file that comes with the UnrealTournament3 demo that just came out:

If AVG anti-virus software is installed, it needs to be uninstalled. This program causes resource conflicts with drivers. Be sure to restart the system after removing AVG.

Ok when I was at work I noticed a t-shirt that said this
"Smile and the whole world smiles with you, Fart and you stand alone"

Its sooo annoying, every Mon, Tues and Thurs days I suffer from gym (since they make us play in the soccer field, which has little - no shade), the hot, burning sun just makes me wanna puke. Plus the sweat from my body persists 4 20 mins - 1 hour!

Any tips to cool off quickly? BTW when does Indian summer end?

Today as I was running away from my anoying as He-Double Hockey Sticks brother, he jumped on my thumbdrive and broke the connector.

So I had to destroy the remains with my dad's Siberan axe and and throw the remains away (I was pretty damn thourough). Luckily I had a backup from yesterday of all my data and I have 2 more 1 GB thumbdrives lying around the house.

So let the hunt begin.......
