Hi guys, i just downloaded this awesome PortableApps. & i just dont know how to change my default theme ( red ) to my pre-loaded themes like silver or the bronze one... hope some of u guys can help me, thanks!! ^_^

I've installed portableapps on one of my flash drives and works beautifully but today I tried to install it on my 8gig flash drive (I'm using the lite install BTW) and it opens up after the install is done but once I eject the flash drive and reinsert it into my pc I am unable to open it. A DOS prompt comes up then disappears. I don't know why it's doing that. I double clicked the autorun settings and it's empty and the icon does not work. Any ideas what is happening? My flash drive is FAT32 formatted and it's 8gigs. Any help would be appreciated.

I am from UAE and we have many sites block and I want to surf anonime also.
I use now portable app on usb stick ant portable tor. Is anithing beter for anonimite and securite.
I don't like my goverment it is not democratie and the want know everithing about us. They stop us for watchin western televisions and information.

If a software was going open source, would it be possible for me to make it portable? The software i'm talking about is lightworks which goes open source at the end of the month

When you download a program and you choose the option "open" instead of "save", the program will be downloaded and opened as it should be. But if you close Opera while the program is running, Opera Portable will not move your profile folder to "data", and your profile will be deleted.

I was exploring a few weeks ago and I found coding that you could take your desktop picture with you, in that when you started the suite, it loaded your desktop picture and then removed it when you were done. I can't seem to find it anymore. Help?

Portable apps has made me like my flashdrive 100 times more than ever.. It is so useful when you are working in a public computer.. Question: What is the most useful application on your flashdrive? Mines would have to be VLC, Utorrent, Frostwire, Peazip portable, Mozilla firefox, CCcleaner, google chrome. I don't really need Open office, but I want it in the drive anyways just incase other computers don't have microsoft office..
