Ever since i became aware or this highly wonderful website,i found alot of programs that simply can't be found anywhere else. The programs are just impressive and the people doing all the work are even more so. Thanks to you,i don't have to buy a laptop! I'm learning how to create my own portable apps and once i mastered the process,i will start contributing. My friends are totally impressed and are spreading the news of this website like wildfire. Anyway thank you all so very much!
I like and use the portable apps cos,i even dont have permission to use youtube and flash enable site in my office PC, now i am using this great portable apps in my office PC. it is connect with server, i think its a just server, the administrator will come once a month but i think he is not fully sitting in the server and checking it, the server act as storage database for the MS access program, it may have proxy server or any firewall.
I have recently encountered sites like qualcomm's brew forums, where i try to sign up with some web based email and i get a denied on my email, so i go to the aol email i have, same thing. So my question is: Is there a portable software like outlook that allows you create a email, that is NOT gmail, yahoo, or aol! Thx for any help in advance.......

Hi
So, I had an idea to install a load of portable apps to my website, and have a link on the website so I could use them anywhere, even if I forgot my USB stick.
Now, I have installed Portable Apps on USB, iPod, HD, etc, and I have managed to get the apps installed onto my webspace, with the .EXE showing up on the website.
The problem I am having though, is that I can't seem to get them to run; When I select the .EXE files (I am using Windows to test all this out), the web browser just asks me to save the file, and not run.
Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to install the .paf.exe files without user interaction into a certain directory, in the way the PortableApps Suite does.
My researches with Google and within the source code of the PA Suite came to different results:
Just a idea a "Portable Apps Development Suite"
Custom theme and icons.
Apps it would have:
Notepad++ Portable
NSIS Portable
KompoZer Portable
PortableApps.com Installer
XAMPP
IcoFX Portable
Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition
PuTTY Portable
7-Zip Portable
Command Prompt Portable
Java Portable
Lightscreen Portable
WinMd5Sum Portable
PortableApps.com AppCompactor
I was wondering how to update an individual portable app, not the suite. Thanks guys!
I really like how programs such as Chrome and Skype do not have the PortableApps splash screen. I wish there was a way to suppress that on other PortableApps.
Not trying to take anything away from this awesome resource, but the splash screens bug me, and whether it is fact of fiction, it provides me the illusion of a slower load of the program.
