How do I add RoboForm2Go to PortableApps.com menu?
I was looking at the Utorrent website, when something grabbed my eye.
http://www.utorrent.com/featured/utorrent-for-usb
It looks like Utorrent has their own Utorrent portable for those who buy one of their USB drives. The description sounds verry similar to the one PortableApps uses for their apps, and PA already has their own Utorrent Portable available for free.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
I just discovered portableapps.com.
I am developing a for-profit software application that will run from a portable drive or flash drive.
I am considering bundling some of the apps from portableapps.com on the drive as well.
The product will be sold as a physical device (the drive with software) that comes with a subscription/license-based pricing structure.
It would be nice to "include" some of the portable apps I've seen listed on the site...
Thanks in advance for any comments, tips, advice or rants that this elicits.
One of the workstations that I use my portableapp suite on is a Pent. 4 2.00 ghz with 522k ram and runs windows 2000 sp4. I am not an administrator so installing new software or making changes is virtually impossible hence the use of portable apps suites. I carry the usb drive from various locations. all are connected to T1 line via a corporate proxy. My question is this is there a recommend browser that will work with best with this machine. Current Firefox and opera lag and hang up, chrome doesn't even work.
It worked fine before but then you had undergone maintenance and it has since stopped working.
Not a real issue but I wanted to give you a heads up.
Today a saw a post on http://www.pendriveapps.com/ where they posted lupo pensuit and Portableapps.com suit. I sent them a message asking them to take it down.
I removed the quoted text because I read some small text that said I could not post any of the contents of the email :/
He replied and then he checked what I told him and removed the link.
hi I would like to know if can I defrag my USB drive, if it's would be good or bad...
I read a lot of things about it, some people say that it will enhance performance on the other hand, other people say that it decrease time life of my USB flash drive... what is true? and what all of you recomend to do...
I have a Kingston 8GB
I just noticed a glitch in the forum (maybe due to the updating). When I just created a new forum topic, the post did not get my usual signature. Replies to existing topics seem to get the signature just fine.
I keep my wife's schedule and make appointments for her using my computer. I currently use WinXP but will be migrating to Win7 as soon as I can get my new computer unpacked and set up.
My wife's computer is Win7 and it lives in her office and client-space in a different building, but it is connected using WiFi.
Hello.
If I have to format the hard disk, could I just copy the folder of all the portable apps on another media (for example an external hd), format c:, reinstall Windows and then re-copy the folders, or should I re-install the .paf file for each portable app?
Thanks!
