Hi John,
I just want to let you know that update downloads aren't working right now.
Error from the PortableApps.com Platform is "Unable to download the file. This could be due to a proxy or network issue or the hosting server not permitting downloads from your location."
It's not working for me, or 2 friends.
Probably a temporary issue, but I thought you might appreciate knowing.

I had an update to v 21.2.0 of the PortableApps platform today, and since that update any portable app that I have that requires .NET to run now comes up with a message that "This application requires .NET installed on the local PC to run". This message takes me to a PortableApps page to download a version of .NET, which then tells me I already have .NET installed when I try to run it.
Hello PALs,
You may have noticed that platform, NSIS, and PA.c Installer releases have been adding languages at a fast pace lately. The platform now supports 80 locales (all complete translations) and the installer and NSIS support 86. I've been working to improve the worldwide availability of our work as much as possible. To that end, I'm looking at increasing the number of languages supported by Firefox and Thunderbird. Unfortunately, build times are quite long.
Hi,
I using Windows (11) and I have an issue my apps cannot be launched from a single panel launcher. I have some apps installed in Windows and some portable apps opensource and not opensource as well. As a result, you never know if you have to access them:
a/ from the Windows button
b/ or from a portable launcher.
¿Is there a way to make that PAF's online installers use the proxy server configured at the Portable Apps Platform?
My PC died so I transferred the backup drive to another system. But when I tried to run Thunderbird Portable (TBP) it told me to go f**k myself. Well it didn't say so literally and I can't recreate the issue with error as now if I try to open the backup it just refuses to open at all. It does show up in Task Manager for a bit but then just disappears.
I am looking for help in installing portable apps for use with Google drive? I have access to a windows laptop and a linux desktop
