Request Apps

I think TortoiseSVN Portable would be a great addiction to portable apps. Ok before all you nay-sayers come in. Yes I know of SubCommander and RapidSVN but neither have a very good set or features, they aren't very stable and they are not easy to use! and Yes I know it's a shell extension! but I really do think it would be perfectly eligible to be a Portable App. First off it is Opensource and OSI compliant, Secondly TortoiseSVN *really really* simplifies SVN, just about anyone can use it.

Hi everybody. I want to ask if it is possible to have a portable version of this software from erightsoft, that allows you to convert any video format, because I've a great problem with it. Every time I restart my pc, this software doesn't work, and I've to reinstall it to let it run. So I think with a portable version it will work always.

Alternatively every video convertor is good if it's not possible for this software. Thanks

I know Thunderbird has an address book but it's buried in the email client and not easely accessible. I have portable apps on a thumb drive : What happens if I loose it. My Address book is not even lightly protected in there.
Could you guys separate the address book, or build an fast to use and easy to secure address book ?
Maybe scramble the content with encryption even...

An app that converts programs to work on different operating systems would be nice.

Celtx is a free, multiplatform, & global Firefox-based program that on one end handles the print formatting needs of scriptwriters, media & event producers, etc; and on the other handles planning and promotion of many kinds of complex productions.
(Most programs of this type cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.)

It would be extremely handy to be able to carry Celtx around, most users wind up having it on several computers, with the resultant multiple versions of their work. It also is being used around the world by people who...well, aren't boring!:]
