Description: A straightforward yet very addictive shooting game you can play against "bots" or other people. Players control tanks which are scattered around a map. You choose a power, angle, and direction for your missile(taking into account the wind and the terrain you are on) and then shoot. You can buy enhanced weapons/defensive items with cash you earn based on your kills/damage inflicted on other players in the previous round(s).

you should make a portable verson of lime wire. It would be nice not having youre parents raving down youre back about haveing limewire on youre computer, because they think every song you download comes with a virous. Ive downloaded 4000 songs and my computer is runin fine but they still wont shut up. But no offense to you parrents out thare and thanks.

Days ago I found a program called Dokan that lets mount in windows hard drive partitions via sftp like sshfs does in linux.

It would be very interesting to have it in a portable version because it would let people work directly with files stored in the ssh server without having to download modify and then load via sftp.
As well it would let people play audio files (and as well films if the streaming were really good) directly from de server.

I recently visited the Mozilla website and looked around the page on Mozilla-bazed applications. One of them is Spicebird (at http://spicebird.com ) which is described as " Spicebird is a collaboration client that provides integrated access to email, contacts, calendaring and instant messaging in a single application. It provides easy access to various web services while retaining all the advantages of a desktop application. The application is based on projects like Thunderbird, Lightning and Telepathy and adds more functionality and integration among its components."

Mojopac like environment for portable apps. Revolutionize the way portable apps runs on computers.

Mojopac is a virtual desktop that runs on xp and vista machines, when run the USB drive it is run from is the C: drive and a virtual windows desktop is created.
"What happens in mojopac, stays in mojopac."

The only problem with this is Mojopac is not opensource/freeware.

If there were a fully functional opensource solution that emulated the windows desktop like mojopac does, I would surely love to use it.

Hello all,

I and my brother have released a new version of our freeware image editor. The new version was designed to be fully portable:
* it runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista & 7
* no extra requirements; .net framework is NOT needed
* all settings (configuration, plug-ins, user icons, recent file list, language files) are saved locally
* when the drive letter changes, the recent file list will adjust paths for files on an USB stick

The most notable features of the editor:
* layers with effects (similar to Photoshop layer styles)
* sRGB optimized blending for extra smooth edges
