I know there is a TTCalc Portable already out there, but SpeedCrunch has many more features and a nicer looking interface.
Name: SpeedCrunch Calculator
License: GPL
Description: "SpeedCrunch is a fast, high precision and powerful desktop calculator.
Available for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X."

I realise that VLC Portable already can play audio files, but I found DekiBulle, which is a audio only player. Might be kind of nice for people who primarily listen to music and don't want the video. It is open source (under GPL).
some of the features include:
- Using of the folders arborescence (for a fast and easy acces to you songs).
Multilingual (English, French, Spanish, Esperanto, Italiano, Swedish, German, Czech, Dutch).
- Multiformat (MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA, MPC, M3U, PLS, AIFF, MP2, MP1, CDA)
(+ FLAC, MID, WV, SPX, AC3, AAC, M4A, TTA, APE, MAC, OFR, OFS in option).
Any open source or freeware Typing Teacher programs that will run off a USB drive?

is it possible to get maplestory on a flash drive?
the website is maplestory.nexon.net
about 625mb
Hopefully the Qtetris Patrick worked on will be in the beta-testing forum soon.
Here are a couple more projects I think would make for nice packages.
Atomic Tanks
# Project Page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/atanks/
# Description: Atanks is a multi-platform Scorched Earth clone similar to the Worms series of games. Annihilate the other tanks to earn money, then spend it on bigger and better shields and weapons to wipe out the opposition.
# Lisense: GNU General Public License (GPL)
# Developers: georgik, slicer69, thomash833152
# Development Status : 5 - Production/Stable
I thought it would be awfully handy if temporary file association would be added to these applications. Implementation would be simple:
1) Write a test registry key, if it fails, skip file association
1.5) Create backups of the registry keys being modified
2) Change the appropriate registry keys in HKCR
3) Use some way to refresh the shell icons (included in FileFunctions.nsh i think)
4) Execute the program using ExecWait
5) Import the registry backups and/or delete all changed keys
6) Refresh shell icons again
