Proxy Cache server
Does a portable proxy server exists, which can also cache traffic, like 'freeproxy' from handcraftedsoftware.org?
Thanks

I have seen this program called Programmers Notepad, it is a great program however i would like to get it to be portable because its the best, lightweight programming/HTML/batch editor i have seen yet, it has full syntax hylighting and is very small in comparasin to most editors (it even supposrts UNIX text files, on windows). The thing is i need a way to get the seetings and store them to a file and have them loaded everytime the program starts as to make it fully portable. Would anyone be able to do it and if they won't then please share the knowledge so i could?
Hi Together,
in case someone else postet it befor, never mind.
I would like to have Trillian Portable, the thing is, there is a manual, to make Trillian portable but it doesn't work on my drive for any reason. However if someone has some free time to make it portable I would be very happy

Are there any portable SVG Viewers out there? If not... thats my request!
Bibus-Biblio is an excellent opensource bibliography program (http://bibus-biblio.sourceforge.net/) which can run from a usb key. It works very well from the usb but does leave stuff behind in the registry. It would be great to be able to use this in a truly portable way without the registry. It also works well inserting citations into OOo or MsWord but would be even better if it would work with portable OOo on the usb.
I recently read about this new program called Songbird. (Well, its new to me.)
Basically this program is based upon the Firefox Engine, but with a built in MP3 player included. When this program goes onto a site with links to MP3 files, the MP3 player boots up and lets you play the links on it.
This is an open source program. So I was wondering if you could turn it portable guys?
Here is the link Songbird Website.
Thanks.
I have tried Roboform and Signup Shield, both U3 versions.
I need more than the free 10 logins that they offer.
I like the interface on both.
I have looked at other password managers but the others I have run into are more
secure storage and/or copy and paste. Too many steps for me. I use a computer because I and a typical American. I am lazy.
I am using FF for some of my passwords, but I would like to keep that info more secure.
Any user friendly, open source Password Managers that you know of?
The http://playchess.com software is a very good chess program interface that I use at home, but I would like to use at other places where I cannot install just any kind of software. Actually, I use Fritz 9 software (http://tinyurl.com/gz5ev), which is the flagship program for http://chessbase.com.
I've seen requests for a portable C++ comiler and saw the thread about Bloodshed Dev and how the problem with it is that it is so HUGE...
Well this isn't a C++ compiler but it does do C. It is also tiny as one might guess by it's name (it will fit on a floppy disk!). It was made for Posix platforms but has recently been ported to Windows using the MinGW includes.
The main page for TinyCC it is here.
And the original port to Windows, TinyCC-PE, can be found in this mailing list thread.
Looking for a free calculator with paper tape function and the ability to display fixed # of decimal points.
ESBCalc http://www.esbconsult.com/esbcalc/esbcalc.htm is close but insists on using 2 lines for each operation and doesn't do hex/octal/binary.
Moffsoft Freecalc has a better paper tape but doesn't do fixed decimal places nor hex/octal/binary.
