Request Apps

Starter is a startup manager, that allows you to view and manage all the programs that are starting automatically whenever Windows boots. It lists all the hidden registry entries, as well as the common Startup Folder items as well. You can choose to safely disable selected entries, edit them or delete them altogether (if you know what you re doing). Expert users can even add their own entries. Nice interface, easy to use, no documentation though (but hardly needed).

I'm sure theres not a huge request for this but I have tried to make this work and it wont. Can someone with the correct expertise please create this for me.

I think a portable edition of bash and coreutils (and maybe findutils, etc...) would be great. I use linux and when I have no choice and have to use MS Windows I really miss a powerful shell where I can work.

I am searching for audio editing software that allows the user to separate "post-production" audio files into lyrics and instrumentals. I am unsure if there are legal repercussions to such software but i would like to know if any user knows of such a program, portable or not.

someone get the opera browser working for portable apps

p.s. I now use u3 and some of my friends who use portable apps would like to see opera available

To start with I am not sure what to exactly call this application. I was wondering if theres an application where you can lock or hide a part of the usb from use and leave another part open so that way if I connect to an infected computer it will only be able to access the files that I leave in the open section of the drive. Perhaps before ejecting the drive it scans the open section and if theres no viruses found move it to the read only section?
