In the official screenshots of the PortableApps Menu, there are two buttons on the bottom right: Close, and something else (looks like an Eject button). Yet, after installing the menu on my 2GB Sony MicroVault, all I see is the Close button. What's up?
Granted, I'm probably the only person in the world still running at this resolution, but I figured I'd bring it up anyway. At 800x600, the very top of the PortableApps menu gets cut off, which doesn't look all that nice. Any possibility you could shrink it a bit, John? I personally think it's too big for a "portable" menu, anyway.
First off, great job on the suite and app portablization. (if that is a word)
I searched the forums and the closest i noticed was someone mentioning about having in the taskbar vs system tray. I'd like to request that your next revision include an option to keep it from fading when i click on other windows, and maybe an always on top option. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Hi @all,
because there are a lot of question for new themes an how to get them into the menu I've created a qick and easy way to change the menu theme from the menu without changing the existing exe or manual copies.
First Download the themes (en-en Installer) or Download the themes (de-de Installer).
At the moment only the colored themes by smithtech and he default theme by John are included.
I have downloaded some of the themes for The PortableApps Menu as I prefer some of them to the red colour. However, transferring then to the PortableApps folder on my databar didn't work. Can somebody help me to apply the theme of my choice?
Thanking you in anticipation

I want to add my personal batch files (.bat/.cmd) to the Portable Apps menu, I like it's interface much more than Pstart. I can't add my batch files to the menu
Please help!!

I've installed PAM (and the patch) on my Kingston 1GB non-U3 drive.
Ok, I've made the suggestion for a clickable image to start PAM before.
But I have a new argument so I thought I would post it.
A came across a different launcher from PC Magazine called Start Eaze.
Really did not like the launcher, but I LOVED what they did with the clickable image to start the launcher.
On the subject of ease of use for beginners, where is the most "natural" place to click to launch programs?
The start button right..
First off, the PortableApps Menu is an excellent application. I'm actually using it as a replacement for the start menu for any of the apps I'm using. One thing I would love to see, however, is the ability to activate the menu via a keystroke. I know that kind of defeats the point of being portable, since that would somewhat require access to the system directly, but no more so than having the icon in the system tray. If there were a way to trigger the pop-up by pressing a Win+? combination, like Win+1 or something, that would be great.
