yPlay music player

Submitted by gdibble on November 20, 2007 - 4:28pm

While the portable media players VLC & MPlayer are great, they're not so great for playing just music files, especially from playlists.

I tried both but their lack of playlist functionality is frustrating.
I also tried a portable app called soprano but it's lacking in playlist-usage as well.

I did find one great, lightweight candidate: yPlay - http://www.spacejock.com/yPlay.html

"yPlay is a freeware MP3, Ogg*, WMA, WAV, FLAC* and Midi player with multiple playlists and a light, clean interface."

Firefox 3 Beta 1

Submitted by tvalladon on November 20, 2007 - 2:18pm

Firefox 3 Beta 1 came out today.

The company I work for develops applications in XUL and we will be moving over to firefox 3 now that it is out of Alpha. Can someone make a portable version of this so I can develop at different locations?

Thank you.

computer repair

I would like to obtain (or see produced), a suite of programs to "kickstart" computers that have lost their speed over time. The suite should include a virus scan, shareware and popup scan, hardware test for hard drives, memory etc., removal of junk files and so forth.

Also, a registry tool to clean up, defrag etc would be very useful.
