hey is it possible with dosbox to make a folder in the X:/DOSBoxPortable\App\DOSBox
called Games and when ever u put a game folder in it once the dosboxportable.exe runs it automatically runs that game. and everytime u want to swich the games all u got to do is change a simple config file or somethiung with the new folders directory and exe. so u dont have to mount and drag n drop.

For Example:

this is how the file directory would look like:

X:/DOSBoxPortable\App\DOSBox\Games\Warcraft\war.exe

But then u want to change to a different game. so all u do is do this:

Hi,

I am fairly new to the Portable-App world. I was looking at building some installers for the blind and came across Portable Apps which seems to be a better option. One of the tools I was looking at was

1. Open Source DAISY Production Tool

and DAISY Playback Tools - AMIS and Emerson

Please let me know if I can get any help with a Portable version of this?

Sorry, did not read the guidelines Smile

Requesting apps: Part 1 - Beginners development and packing.

After reading though all the requested applications here, one thing strikes me.

Why?!!

ISTM that the majority of applications requested are open source, in which case surely anyone can make an application portable?

That's the whole, key, SELLING POINT of opensource software! (That it's available to anyone to improve!)

But then I looked at the "Development" section with a view to helping out...

Surely the process could all be explained a bit better?

Thanx to all advices and to this project
sourceforge.net/projects/devcpp-portable
I released a version of wxDevCpp7rc6 available at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxdsgn-portable/
I added also unicode support, using DLL profile and wx-precompiled option Smile
Please read credits and improvements.txt inside the project

Hoping that this project can be a useful tool for developers Smile

wxDev-C++ lets you develop easily cross platform applications, with a good toolkit to build GUI (Graphical User Interface).
