Ezvid is one of the best free video editors and I will greatly appreciate it being in the awesome portableapps! Biggrin

Simple Sticky Notes

Submitted by n777 on April 15, 2013 - 6:02pm

Hello!
I'm using Simply Sticky Notes v1 at the moment and it's pure simple. There was a v2 released recently, but unfortunately it cannot be moved as easily as previous version. Additionally the new version supports a recycle bin which is a really big amenity for the end-user.

I don’t have enough patience to go thought the tutorials, howtos (and trust me I’ve tried couple of times).

Maybe someone here could easily port it to portable application?
The only changes the application makes is:
- Create a Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Simnet branch, where it stores… nothing?

Theme changer... Has anyone even heard of one??

I don't even know if there IS an app like this, but is there something that can change the computer theme from one style to another while your drive is plugged in, and swap it back after you eject it?

I do know it would need to have something to determine what OS you use, because XP uses different theme types from the later versions of Windows. It doesn't even use the same kind of frame! I don't know much about coding, but that has to be pretty hard.

Sozi (Inkscape extension)

Submitted by Leon B on April 14, 2013 - 12:57pm

Hi!

Is there a way to make Sozi or rather its dependencies portable?
Sozi is an Inkscape extenstion to make fancy "nonlinear" presentations somehow similar to Prezi, but open source and without Flash.
The extension itself seems to be portable, but it needs Python 2.7, PyGTK 2.24 and LXML to work.

Classic Shell Portable

Submitted by Tenzen on April 13, 2013 - 3:55am

I am interested in finding other people who think the Free, Open-Source "Classic Shell" would be a great project to develop further specifically for Portability

I'd like to put a team together of people with the skills to make it happen...

I've been thinking a portable version could serve more as a USB interface & a TaskBar Overlay/Supplement/Replacement

the main features would be the current awesome Buttons that take DOS Commands on the System Drive & Custom Shortcuts & Custom Icons

Trillian

Submitted by bluegrass501 on April 9, 2013 - 11:46am

I've been working to create a portable version of Trillian 5.3, but I am only a rookie at this, and have gotten stumped.
I am sure that I have overlooked minor details anyway.
Is it possible for someone there (who knows what they are doing) can create a portable version of Trillian?
