Help

Submitted by allenrm on June 1, 2011 - 5:50pm

I am wondering, I have a legit copy of Office and would like to have my Onenote portable as I use it for so much. Since I have a legitimate copy and can prove it if needed, is there someone that could help make this for me as I have no clue how to do this for myself.

I know it can't be released on PortableApps.com because it is commercial software and I would never expect that to be done. This is just for my personal use.

hey portable apps. i made a new app with the game plants vs zombies and it does work.
all i need is help on doing the development test thing. I posted before on how to upload apps, and someone said "Most people here use MediaFire. After uploading it, make a post in the Beta Testing forum (be sure to follow the guidelines)."

I need to learn on how to do this..... help is appreciated.

Easy programming tools to develop other programs should be built to make portable apps the way the user wants. systems can be changed and visual designs can be swapped or redone. People would have even more freedome of their favorite app or program.

Is anyone making a PA.c version of Bitcoin (bitcoin.org)? It's Open Source and as far as I can tell very portable as I downloaded the zip file, extracted it to my PA folder, did a "Refresh App Icons" and is running it from the PA menu now.

I haven't done a regshot and I don't know if there's any dependencies (.NET etc.) so...

CCleaner (and other Piriform programs)

Submitted by gtchamp7 on May 27, 2011 - 1:06pm

Piriform already provides a zipped version of all of their programs (CCleaner, Recuva, Defraggler, Speccy) for portable use, but it would be great if PortableApps.com could provide an installed portable version so that updates could also be provided much easier. Seeing as they already provide a .zip version, then making it into an 'official' PortableApp should be a cinch.

Thank You
