ntfs undelete

Submitted by ginger_tosser on February 12, 2010 - 4:42am

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to wrap NTFS Undelete as a portable app (http://ntfsundelete.com/)

Program: NTFSUndelete

License: GPL - ver 3

Description:
Official blurb:
"NTFS Undelete is free software that allows to recover deleted files. It recovers files directly from hard drive, and it will work even if Recycle Bin is empty."

Personal comment:
A mostly Python based program which can undelete files from NTFS file systems. Nice GUI, works well.

NVDA - NonVisual Desktop Access

Submitted by talksina on February 11, 2010 - 8:35am

Hi,
I am a visually impaired person (that is, totally blind)
well
I noticed on your site there is a menu option called "accessibility" and I was sorry to realize, there was not NVDA included
It's a screen reader. that is, a self-voicing application which is needed for blind people to use the computer without sighted help
NVDA is on the site http://www.nvda-project.org, installer and portable version is included. With the ability, also, to make the pen drive really self-voicing, modifying the autorun.inf file in an u3-based unit

Chrome 4?

Submitted by SilentWalker on February 10, 2010 - 9:18pm

When are you all going to update Chrome to version 4? It was released quite a while now. And providing Chrome is probably one of the most used apps here, it's funny that it hasn't been updated as yet. I wonder why?
