Like a 3½-inch floppy disk and other USB Flash Disks, they have write-protect capabilities, for the USB, it's a write-protect switch, unfortunately, my USB doesn't have a write-protect switch...

Is there a portable application that can write-protect a USB Flash Disk?

Because when I'm viewing a video or viewing a document, on my USB, I would like it, if my USB is write-protected, so it is protected from viruses and malware that tend to add themselves on USBs...

Would it be possible to make portable apps for mac,like some games,internet browser ect,it would be great as my school have loads of mac pc's but you cant use the apps you want,like we cant play games,ect,if you could make some i would be very gratefull

I don't ask a new portable app.
I know there is a portable version of ccleaner out.
But wouldn't it be nice to make it also clean portable firefox,... instead of only the firefox,... from the host?
modifying an ini file that let us do this?
