It would be nice if we could put things like links to websites on the PAM.

Got a suggestion for an app that should be portable? Post it here.

Tymer Portable is a freeware rehearsal timer application for performers, public speakers, or anyone that needs an event timer. Feel free to download it at [Link removed by moderator RM: See below for an explanation. Additionally, do not include the target attribute. It does nothing as it is automatically stripped. No divs either :P].
The program is very simple to use.
I wrote the application to know when to time comedy sets..
To install the portable version, just unzip the file into the PortableApps directory
Snuuze Portable is a freeware alarm clock application for travelers. Feel free to download it at [Link removed by moderator RM: Link removed as per below and your other post].
In addition to setting the alarm clock settings and wake-up message, you can also specify the snooze sound or music.
I wrote the application since I couldn't always rely on hotel wake-up calls.
To install the portable version, just unzip the file into the PortableApps directory.
Is it possible to have a portable release of coolplayer ??
Thank you
I found wxChecksums 1.2 to be a great file integrity checker.. it's a relatively old application. It has a nice and simple Batch GUI interface and it uses MD5 and SFV algorithms, lightning fast and made for both Windows and Linux. I would very much like to see this app. portable for Windows
It looks easy to make portable, however I have no skill whatsoever in acomplishing this
It would be nice if there was a program that switches the desktop to your favorite desktop when you put your drive in. It would make the computing experience better.:)
Hi, i'm using Miro (Opensource TV program, like Joost(closedsource)), so, anyone can make it portable?

Hi there,
As a webdeveloper I like to have multiple versions of Firefox installed. Portable Firefox is the ideal way for me of working with multiple versions. I was wondering, as Mozilla no longer brings out updates to the 1.5 branch, if you guys could port Firefox 1.5.0.12 to a portable app. This is almost guaranteed the last version of the 1.5 branch, so it will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know of any freeware or open source file manager that comes anywhere close to Salamander that could be used as a replacement. Or can anyone existing users suggest any tweaks that could make it portable. I know distributing a portable version would be out of the question but any help would be much appreciated. Unfortunately it seems to rely rather heavily on the registry, it sometimes works, sometimes doesnt and seems to behave rather oddly all in all. Cheers
