Got a suggestion for an app that should be portable? Post it here.

I found an open source app that repairs .avi files by splicing out bad frames
I'm not too sure if there would be much interest there would be in a program that only repairs one type of media file but I thought I would throw it out there anyways.
the web site is: https://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=75428
I used to run this app on Linux. Any chance this could be ported?
If not, are there any other "note taking" (todo list, stickies, etc.) in the works?!
I like the Wiki features of TomBoy, though.
Thanks.
Now that the first GIMP 2.4 Release Candidate has come out, any chance that it can be made portable? I really can't wait to try out some of the new features on it, like the extraction tool.
I am looking for a good portable app that will give the user the ability to display subliminal messages that they choose whether text or pictures (In any particular order, or at random, also if audio could be incorporated that would be nice.) It would need to be able to display groups that have been already preconfigured messages (ex. weight loss, stop smoking, etc.) & have the option to give the user the ability to create custom lists or upload new lists as they become available by the software distributor, or other users who have developed their own lists.
Where can I find additional apps that have been developed for the PortableApps Menu, but aren't hosted on the site? For example apps that have been modified to work without needing admin rights? If you could provide descriptions & links it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
Christianity is a major religion and all christians could use a portable bible study program. E-Sword is a free program at www.e-sword.com.
Does any one know of root kit detectors. Open scource of course.
