Hi, I just now installed into my PortableApps USB 3.0 drive the excellent Emsisoft Emergency Kit then launched. I seem to be experiencing an issue where the signatures update fails by being in a possible loop. The update has been running now for around 50 minutes. Anyone able to advise about this?

I am not sure if folks can help, but I'm at a loss at how to use Task Scheduler to open up Spybot and Clamwin and have them run a scan. I wanted them to do it weekly, but I just don't know what I would put for the Arguments.
Can anyone let me know? If this is out of the purview of the other members, I will understand.

Eraser Portable requires admin privileges for many of its functions. Is there a way to set the Portable Apps Platform to always run Eraser as admin?

Eraser Portable is not saving it's settings between sessions.

For example, set it to *not* wipe cluster tips when wiping empty space on a volume. Then close Eraser Portable. When you re-open Eraser Portable, it will have forgotten about that setting. Similar issue with other settings.

I have been unable to update virus definitions for ClamWin since a couple weeks ago. Every attempt gives me the following.

Hi all,

every time, I start Keepass 1.38, it starts with the default language "english". I then change it go "german" which needs a restart.

This setting is saved into the file "keepass.ini" in the folder \PortableApps\KeePassPortable\App\keepass

When I stop the application, this file is completely removed, and starting Keepass again goes back to the english language.

Hey, all. I tried to search the forums for a previous discussion about this and didn't see anything that seemed relevant.

What kind of performance hit (if any) could I expect if I opt to run VeraCrypt Portable off the same portable USB drive as the location of the vault itself? Just curious to know if read/write performance would be significantly better if VC were installed on each system instead.

If this has come up before, a pointer to the topic would be really appreciated.
