I apologize, I don't know where I should create this post, on the development forum or on the support forum, so I'm writing here. I apologize if I made a mistake, please explain if I am wrong.

today I downloaded the portable ClamWin App and started a scan. When I last used it some years ago it scanned everything and I had a progress info in the Scan Window itself.
This version now opens a command line, saying Loading:... 3,63m sigs
then it perfoms x of 41 tasks and then closes directly.

This is not how it behaved in the past. I don't see the scan results because the command line closes instantly. In the ClamWin scanning window it says Completed directly after it started with no other whatsoever.

I'm setting up a USB drive with a password manager, for my wife to use in the event of my death. I considered using a bootable linux setup, but I've seen enough hardware compatibility issues that I'm not confident leaving my wife with potential technical problems. And even if no hardware problems, I don't want her to have to figure out how to boot an external drive as it varies on each system. So I decided to try a windows portable app setup. We may have a computer for her to use, but not guaranteed, so I'd like for her to be able to use someone's computer with the portable app USB drive.

I've got the MS Store version of KPXC installed on my school laptop and wanted to try out the PortableApps version of it.

Update has been failing for last couple of days. According to their website, the version that PortableApps uses is End Of Life. Could this be the cause?

After running a scan with Stinger a folder with a running version of McAfee security, including at times the firewall application. As this McAffe is not installed only placed one must run the McAfee uninstaller application (https://www.mcafee.com/support/s/article/000001616?language=en_US)

when i start scanning (insert drive letter here) i get this instead of insert wait time for scanning process. am i missing something? all defs are up to date.
