Yeah the only roadblock in making MoinMoinDE Portable is the wiki folder in Data\settings folder is not being moved back to App\moinmoin when MoinMoinDE is closed after the 1st run it moves the wiki folder to the Data\settings folder but 2nd run and so forth the launcher is not moving the wiki folder from Data\settings back to App\moinmoin

The wiki folder has 3 sub-directories

Heres the .nsi:

New Folder Shortcut in PortableAppl menu

Submitted by wrobel-cwirek on October 9, 2007 - 4:16pm

Hi

I'm writing a Comic Book files reader (Java-Comix) and I have prepared portable version of it (unfortunately only manual installation is required) - soon it will be available from source forge page (I mean the portable version).

But back to the question - how to add a new shortcut to a folder from the USB drive to the menu (like there are Documents, Music, Pictures, Video...)?

I want to have a "Comic books" option there. It would be fallowing path: Documents\Comix

Is it possible to extend that menu?

Thanks in advance,
Wrobel-Cwirek

.PAF.EXE creation

Submitted by rvreugde on October 8, 2007 - 7:33am

Hi All,

I have searched through the forum, but I did not find the answer directly.

I manage to create a Portable App, but, I just need to create a PAF.EXE file, in order to let it "install" via the PAM.

Can anobody tell me the "secret"? Wink

Thanks a lot in advance...

Canorus - Who's Interested? (Music Composition)

Submitted by Patrick Patience on October 6, 2007 - 11:10pm

A while back I was looking for an open source Music Notation/Composition Program. I found Lilypond, which is all text based. I was going to work on making it portable, but it's not that beneficial to most users. There are about three GUI's for Lilypond, but only one has Windows binaries, and it's not so great. It also hasn't been updated in a while.

I am attempting to make ToDoList 5.3.9 paf compliant.

What: ToDoList is a hierarchical task manager with native XML support for custom reporting. It allows you to repeatedly sub-divide your tasks into more manageable pieces, which makes it ideal for IT related projects as well as more general activities.
Size: about 2MB
